Really good speed I would say he runs in the low 4.4s. He's a really good athlete and has long strides when he runs.
He is very physical and can jam recievers off the line off scrimmage. Although there are times his lack of quickness allows him to get beat. Another thing worth mentioning is he can also tend to be overaggressive causing him to get beat once again.
He's got flexibility and can torque his body to make acrobatic catches. See the interception he made against Duke.
He is not the most explosive or quick corner. He can recover and his length 6'2 bails him out when he gets beat.
He does look for the football often. But I think this is more so because he trust his size, so he trained himself to look for the football and allow his length to give him an advantage.
He tackles with a high pad level causing him to miss or be carried for extra yards. Check 14:53 3rd Qt Alabama vs South Carolina 2019.
He is very good in man coverage and usually keeps up with most receivers. Can get beat by quickness though. Examples would be quick stutter steps or double moves.
His quickness is not ideal to play in zone coverage but he certainly has the length to cover a lot of ground.
Duke vs Alabama 2019 3rd Qt with 24 seconds left Tevon Diggs makes a beautiful play on the ball hauling in an interception.
He suffered a broken foot against Arkansas in 2018.
I can not judge this as I have not met with him.
He has tremendous size at 6'2 200lbs and he utilizes it well. He is also very athletic and runs very well, he oftentimes looks back for the football and that's important at the next level.
He has been really solid for the past 2 years but did have a broken foot which caused him to miss some time in 2018.
He is a 6'2 200lbs corner who uses his length very well and can run. He does look back and can highpoint the football as well to make plays. He is very good in man coverage and he normally can keeps up with receivers.
He is not the quickest nor does he have great acceleration. Can be beat by a good route runner and someone with elite quickness. He needs to learn how to tackle with more consistency and keep his pad level lower
I see him as someone who can develop into a very good corner, although he needs to learn how to tackle with better fundamentals. He posses very good size at 6'2 200 and utilizes well knocking down a lot of passes.
