Strengths
Nice size; excels in press coverage on the line of scrimmage; long arms.
Weaknesses
Plays high and is stiff in his hips. gets turned way too often; lacks good recovery speed and is a step slow to diagnose. Needs a lot of refinement.
Overall Analysis
Wilson was a productive SEC corner that needs a lot of refinement before he takes the field in the NFL. His playing speed can be solved with some decisiveness and faster recognition, which is learnable. The biggest issue facing him is that he is stiff and awkward in pass coverage and needs some serious rewiring of his fundamentals. Still, his size and ability to press will get him drafted but he'll spend his first season, at least, as a team's 4th or 5th cornerback.
