He probably runs around a 4.5 based on the film I have seen. he is not the fastest corner or the most gifted athlete but he is very technically sound.
He is very effective as a press corner and he can be very effective when he gets hands on a player. This allows him to slow the receiver just enough to prevent too much separation.
He is not the most agile corner and can be a bit stiff when it comes to changing direction. But in terms of his technique, it mitigates this problem a bit.
He does not have the best long speed and he will get beat. I prefer him to cover No. 2 receivers because his long speed concerns me.
He normally recognizes a play and it helps him anticipate throws for either a break-up or interception. Against more possession-type receivers he is very effective.
He is a very sound tackler who plays with efficient technique.
It can run hot and cold because against go routes and very fast receivers he can get beat pretty bad. He needs to get hands-on and be physical at the line of scrimmage to avoid receivers getting over the top.
He recognizes the play when he is in the zone but his lack of agility and quickness causes him to be just a tad late at times creating big openings on the play.
He has got long arms to break up the pass and he is most effective when he breaks off a route to make the pick. He can struggle to get interceptions when he is forced to contort his body.
I could not fin any major injuries in my research.
I can not judge as I have not met him personally.
He has got a great size to be a very effective corner in this league.
He normally is consistent but he will occasionally be beaten by quickness and speed.
He is a physical CB who has good size and athleticism. He has good length and is able to use that to break up passes with ease. He also is very technically sound in all aspects of his game including footwork and tackling.
He lacks elite quickness and speed. He can get beat by faster defenders especially when he fails to get a hand on them. His lack of quickness causes him to leave open zones at times and he can give up big plays.
Overall he is a good prospect with enticing physical tools who is ready to step into the league and be an effective CB 2. Under the right scheme, he can be a very effective player at the next level.
