When he's playing his best, he can be the Mets best player. He has all the tools needed to be an All Star. he is a great fielder who can track down any ball in the gap. He has proven to be a hitter who can bat at the top of the lineup and also provide some power when needed.
Consistency. He has failed to stay consistent from season to season. When he came up his rookie year, he was playing incredibly well. His first full season in the MLB was very rocky with a lot of ups and downs. He needs to find a way to stay as consistent as possible through a full 162 game season.
If he can stay healthy and consistent, Conforto can be the Mets best outfielder ahead of Cespedes. he has all the tools necessary to be an All Star. If he can't stay consistent, he could be fighting for a starter job in a very deep outfield in New York.
