Arm Strength/Power
6.70
His arm is fine but it won't blow you away. It's about average.
Short Accuracy (1-10 yds)
7.00
He is fairly accurate with the short passing game. He will miss throws when he does not reset his feet either high or low.
Imtermediate Accuracy (10-20 yds)
7.50
He is a bit more accurate in the 10-15 range as he uses more of his entire body to make the throw.
Long Accuracy (20+ yds)
6.50
He will underthrow his receiver at times as he tends to put too much air on the ball.
Pocket Presence
6.20
He is not big enough or strong enough to stay in the pocket and run through arm tackles. He has to escape the pocket and avoid tacklers to be effective.
Mobility
7.20
He is quick and shifty and can definitely pick up yards with his legs. He probably runs in the 4.6s
Vision
6.50
He needs to react faster to what's in front of him in terms of pressure. He needs to understand he is better outside the pocket than he is inside.
Mechanics
6.00
He has a very wide base which causes some inconsistencies on his throws causing them to be high or slightly off the mark.
Durability
8.00
He did not have any noteworthy injuries.
Leadership
5.00
I can not judge as I have not met him personally.
Game Management
6.50
He will take what the defense gives him and play within the system.
Decision-Making
7.00
He will play within the system and when it's not there he usually runs. The issue is he is too reliant on the system and predetermines his throws.
Size
5.50
He is not very big and is well below starting NFL QB size at 6'1 205.
Speed
7.00
His speed is solid and will be useful at the next level.
Play-Making Ability
6.50
He has got some playmaking ability more so with his legs and his ability to make people miss.
Productivity
6.00
His production is very lackluster and his only notable season is in 2020 where he currently has 22TD's to 9 INT's 6 of hose INT's coming from that Arkansas game.
Intangibles
5.00
He might be an ok back up for a West Coast offense. He will probably be better suited as a package type QB similar to what Lamar Jackson was in his rookie year.
Character
5.00
I can not judge as I have not met him.
Consistency
5.50
I question this part of his game at times because its hard to throw for INT's in one game that needs to be cleaned up
Strengths
He is very agile and is quick. He will make you miss and can throw effectively on the run. He is also accurate on short to intermediate throws.
Weaknesses
He lacks arm strength and it's evident when he attempts to throw the ball deep as it tends to die on him. He needs to learn how to better use his ability to run better. He escapes the pocket and throws decently on the run yet he tends to stay within the pocket predetermine his throws and make mistakes. The Arkansas game was awful and was an indication of his lack of awareness in terms of understanding the defense out on the field. He threw an interception by the red zone with two-zone defenders covering the inside of his receiver and instead of trying to throw over the top he tries to rifle the ball in between the defenders and throws a horrible interception. He needs to better at deciphering the defense.
Overall Analysis
He is a good athlete with a chance to develop on a practice squad. He may end up with a role similar to Taysom Hill but more oriented as specifically a Wildcard QB. At this current point though he is a grade of Undrafted. Possibly with more time and development he can climb up the Draft Board and become a Day 3 pick
