He is really fast for the position, this is the part of his game that stands out the most to me. He is able to out run even some DB's.
He has good enough hands to make athletic and contested catches. But he can let the ball get into his body sometimes and that leads to some drops.
He is really slippery on his releases and he uses his hands well to create separation. He can sometimes round out cuts that are supposed to be hard cuts.
He can get pushed around by LB's and DE's consistently. He is a little light for his position so he needs to put on weight at the next level.
This is the weakest part of his game, he has trouble with both DE's and LB's. He is a willing blocker though, it's not like he avoids contact.
Cuts really well in and out of his breaks, able to lower his hips and change direction. Slippery with the ball, he is able run well behind blocks.
Run After Catch
Really fast and able to run away from most defenders. Athletic and big enough to break open field tackles, I would like to see him run with a little more physicality.
Big Play Ability
He is fast enough so he can get behind the defense when they are caught flat footed. If he has room to run he has the speed to finish a long run as well.
Kyle has incredible speed for the TE position, the first thing that jumps off the film is his vertical speed. He has the ability to run past even some DB's, and he is has some agility to his game that allows him to be dangerous with the ball after the catch. He also has good use of hands when creating separation that combined with his great speed leads him open a lot of the time. He has a really big catch radius, his really long arms stand out when he has to jump for a high ball. He also has the ability to make contested and athletic catches with defenders on him with really good body control.
Kyle's main weakness stems from the fact that he is skinny for his 6'6 stature, being around 235 lbs. This affects his play strength and is a big part of the reason why he is not a very good blocker at all. He can also improve his route running, on his cuts he tends to round them off instead of making a hard cut sometimes, and he can get caught jogging some routes as well. And while he has good hands and makes many tough catches he also lets the ball into his body sometimes and that causes him to have some drops.
Kyle has an insane amount of athletic talent, he is one of the fastest TE's I have seen while being 6'6 235 lbs. You can line him up all over the field as a receiver, inside, outside, in the backfield, it doesn't matter. But he is a raw prospect that needs to be taught how to run routes properly and he especially needs to learn blocking technique. Since he is such a versatile player on the offensive side and considering how athletic he is, he is a 1st round talent but he isn't a day 1 starter, he is a little more of a project that needs some good coaching.
