Player Scouting Report

Players Scouting Reviewer : TFriedlaender . Position :Wide Receiver [WR]

Very fast straight line speed able to beat DB's even when they are in off coverage.
Pass Catching
He has really good hands able to make athletic catches consistently. Really good at using his hands to catch never lets the ball in his body. Catches balls over the middle with confidence.
Route Running
Able to create separation on any route, can beat you over the top with pure speed or shake you with his quick cuts and head fakes.
He has really great hand strength where he can rip the ball away from defenders. I would like to see him stronger when running the ball, got tackled a little too often in the open field.
Vertical Ability
Jumps over smaller defenders constantly, able to high point the football and make athletic catches.
Run after Catch
He has all the ability to be a really strong runner, and has his times when he breaks a long run after the catch. I would like to see him break more tackles in the open field.
Catching in Traffic
Able to catch over smaller defenders, uses his hands really well to create last minute separation to make a catch. Confident in making catches over the middle when gearing up to getting hit.
Big Play Ability
Able to beat the defense in many ways but he is always a threat to break out a big gain.
He has started every game in the past 2 seasons.
Makes tough catches over the middle.
He had at least 800 yards and 8 TDs in the past 2 seasons, was a little better his freshman year.
Deep Threat
Can beat DB's over the top or can catch over smaller defenders, just throw the ball up to him.
Over the Middle
Makes catches over the middle and in traffic, holds on after getting hit. Really good at using his body to shield the defender from the ball.
Justyn is a big receiver with all the physical skills to make him a number one receiver at the next level. He is 6'4 205 lbs and can out run DB's in a straight line and can go in and out of his cuts with extreme precision. He catches the ball over the middle and then spreads out wide to beat you down the sideline. He is really great at making contested catches and high pointing the ball over the defender, he is able to hang on to tough catches because of his really strong hands.
His biggest weakness when watching his film is that he tends to get brought down by one defender in the open field, he has all the tools to be a great yards after catch guy but just doesn't break a lot of tackles. Also at times he disappears for long stretches throughout the game, I am not sure whether this is because his offense is really stacked and he is just not getting looks or that he is not getting open for those times.
Overall Analysis
He is the prototypical WR according to all the tangible metrics. He has elite speed, height, and athleticism. He is able to high point balls over defenders and is really great at using his hands and speed to create separation when he needs to. I would like him see break more tackles when he has the ball in his hands but that will improve as he improves his NFL body. My Projection: 1st round, Top 15 if he has another really great season.
