Big explosive running back who has the ability to jump cut and make defenders miss. Can explode through a hole and bounce outside for a big gain. Check Michigan vs. Wisconsin 2019 2:53 1st QT.
He has the ability to juke out defenders and make them miss. Often times when he stuck in traffic he has the agility to bounce it to the outside for a big game.
Prefers to elude and out run defenders. Is not like Leonard Fournette who at LSU was more of a power back. Then again this a 225 pound running back who surely has the capability to demonstrate power but again that is not Jonathan Taylor's game.
Definitely has some wiggle and prefers to avoid defenders rather than taking on contact.
He can catch and can be a good YAC player but needs more refinement as a route runner in and out of the backfield. He does not pass catch much.
His vision is solid and he sees holes open up and makes the appropriate cut. Often times though he can get to cute in the backfield and try to avoid every defender. More often than not this results in loss yardage.
Running in Traffic
He is a big explosive back who is north of 220 and can run through defenders and showcase some powerful leg drive.will break through arm tackles easily.
heavy workload and has stayed relatively healthy. Teams may be wary about whether he was overused and may cause issues down the road in terms of extensive hits he's gotten.
Has the ability to carry a few defenders with him through contact.
Outstanding size 5''11 225. That is great size. Only slight concern is that he does not pull an Eddie Lacy and gain a lot of weight.
Outstanding production as he closed in on 2000 yards in 2017 and then in 2018 surpassed 2000 yards. Incredible production.
Did not see him much pass blocking. He is normally not in during pass plays according to the film I watched.
Can develop in to an outstanding pro but again his high usage can be a cause for concern once he faces the rigors and physicality of the NFL.
Has had around 300 carries each of his two seasons at Wisconsin which showcases he's willing to be a workhorse.
Can not judge to well as I have not personally met with him.
He is a big running back who is elusive fast and productive. He has good vision and follows his blocks. He burst through a hole and any open space allows him to accelerate break arm tackles and go the distance.
Pass Blocking needs work. Sometimes he tries to elude everyone causing him to get stopped a dew yards behind the line of scrimmage.
He is a more explosive less polished Ezekiel Elliott.
