He has above-average arm strength. He does show the ability to throw deep with functional velocity.
Short Accuracy (1-10 yds)
He is fairly accurate on underneath routes such as screenplays. He does occasionally miss when he is under pressure often throwing it short of the receiver.
Imtermediate Accuracy (10-20 yds)
He is fairly accurate on all levels. He does throw to wide-open receivers at times but also does not possess the best team around him. Against Charlotte, in 2019 he throws a laser to the endzone for his first TD pass showcasing goof velocity on those intermediate out routes.
Long Accuracy (20+ yds)
He is surprisingly accurate down the field. Against Louisiana Tech throws a beautiful ball with 8:15 in the first QT. In the 3rd QT of the same game, with13:15 underthrows his receiver for what would have been a walk-in TD.
He needs to improve his pocket awareness. Against Miami, he was sacked multiple times because he did not recognize the pocket around him collapsing.
He is abetter athlete than given credit for had some zone-read TD runs. See TD against Louisiana Tech.
He does keep his eyes downfield and reads the defense. It is one of his better skillsets. Although his lack of spacial awareness causes him to get sacked.
His mechanics are solid although if I were him I would try to keep the football a bit higher by his shoulder as oppose to his waist to avoid fumbling issues.
From what I could research I did not find any serious injuries on his profile. He seems to be reliable.
I can not judge this as I have not met with him personally.
He tends to throw a lot of deep balls and escape the pocket at times. His team was not the most reliable group.
He has improved the turnover margin once he transferred out of Bowling Green to Florida Atlantic cutting his turnover margin from 15 to around 7.
He's around 6'4 215 which is a perfect size for a QB.
He is a better athlete than given credit for I expect him to run in the high 4.8 to low 4.9s
He scans the field effectively and is able to deliver a ball downfield with velocity. He shows his playmaking ability when he's given time in the pocket and is able to move around and deliver an accurate ball down the field
His production is very average and may be considered even below average but again you have to look at the team around him.
He has got the potential to develop and become a good player. Although currently, I see him as a long term backup
I have not met with him so I can not judge this.
He has been fairly accurate through his college career but that is about it. His production is not very impressive.
He has got a good arm and can throw an impressive deep ball at times. He is a better athlete than given credit for. He also does well to scan the field and progress through his reads. He is fairly accurate and has exceeded the 60% threshold mark in 2018 where he posted 65.3%.
He has little spacial awareness and holds on to the football for too long. He has played a lot of football but has showcased little production.
I view him currently as a Day 3 prospect with the ability to develop into an average to a below-average starter. I believe he can be a long term back up in this league. Look for him to be drafted by a team with a veteran QB looking to develop a young player.
