Gets good push off the line; turns his man; shows the ability to get to the second level
Rarely challenges, locks his man down once engaged; Good knee bend and quick feet.
Fundamentally sound and consistent footwork.
Isn't a bruiser but gets movement or stops movement consistently.
There is a little bit of a nasty streak that shows up in his film.
Has the ability to block down, move to the second level, block on the run, or handle speed rushers.
Bolles has a checkered past but was able assuage any concerns about this during the team interviews at the combine.
Very technically proficient.
Athletic technically sound left tackle; plays with good knee bend and balance and is capable of handling bull rushers, inside moves, double moves, or outside moves; Gets movement on rushing plays; gets to the second level and neutralizes his man. Rarely loses battles.
Bolles has no weaknesses that really stand out. He will probably be asked to add some weight and he could stand to play a little nastier.
There's a lot to like about Bolles. He has no obvious deficiencies in his game and is as consistent as a collegiate lineman can be. If he adds a little playing strength and nastiness to his game he could be great. He should at least be a 10 year starter at left tackle for whoever drafts him.
