Arm Strength/Power
7.00
It's solid but does not seem like anything special. He throws with good velocity and it comes out of his hand quickly.
Short Accuracy (1-10 yds)
6.50
When he rushes through his mechanics he misses the easy throw. His feet can get stuck on the ground at times causing his arm angle to go in a downright position.
Imtermediate Accuracy (10-20 yds)
7.20
He is somewhat accurate at the intermediate level and puts good placement and good touch on his throws. There are times though where he is off due to bad footwork and being rushed.
Long Accuracy (20+ yds)
6.70
When he has time he can deliver some very nice throws when he goes deep. But the issue is that his footwork is not always in sync with his body and can cause some inaccuracies.
Pocket Presence
6.30
He can escape the pocket relatively well, but when he is pressured his feet can get stuck and it makes him inaccurate.
Mobility
7.70
He is a mobile guy who boasts good athletism to run the West Coast offense and he has more success when he is able to roll out.
Vision
6.80
He sees the play sometimes but can take too long to deliver the throw. he needs to be more controlled in the short game in terms of taking what the defense gives him.
Mechanics
6.80
His mechanics are inconsistent and could lead to some mistakes.
Durability
7.00
He suffered a fractured left ankle during high school, but he has been healthy throughout college.
Leadership
5.00
I can not judge as I have not personally met him.
Game Management
6.20
This is not really his game his short accuracy is not consistent enough to manage games.
Decision-Making
7.60
He plays within his offensive system and has had limited interceptions through out his 1 and a half years of his time as the starting QB for the Auburn Tigers.
Size
6.70
It's not great but it's fine. He measures 6'2 213 which is big enough.
Speed
7.70
He seems like a mid 4.6 guy from my initial view of his running ability on film.
Play-Making Ability
7.00
There is something here as there were times on film I saw him shift his arm angle and make unorthodox throws that ended up working. He can also escape the pocket and throw on the run with relative effectiveness.
Productivity
6.30
He is not very productive and has more game manager type numbers. 16TDS to 6 INT's This year he has 9 TD's to 4 INt's
Intangibles
6.80
With time he might be able to be a solid back who gets his chance to start given the right offensive system.
Character
5.00
I can not judge as I have not met him.
Consistency
5.60
He has never been the most accurate QB and his mechanics are inconsistent.
Strengths
He has got some playmaking ability and avoids turning the ball over. He has good athletic ability and it can be utilized effectively given the right offensive system.
Weaknesses
He is not very big at 6'2 213 and his arm strength is also not amazing it is just solid. His mechanics are inconsistent at times specifically his footwork. He is also not very productive and is just too inexperienced as of now.
Overall Analysis
He is currently a developmental prospect with the potential to be a solid backup and maybe even a starter if he cleans up his mechanics. His arm strength and size are average and he does not process quickly enough to compensate for the lack of physical ability. Projected Rounds ( Rounds Mid 5th to Mid 6th)
