He is athletic enough to get to the second level. Against stringer defensive lineman can get pushed around a bit
he is very technically sound. He has good feet to mirror the defender. Though he does lack explosive contact through his block. I would like to see a bit more aggressiveness and pop from him.
He lacks power on initial contact and against stronger and faster edge rushers in the NFL Andrew Thomas will struggle. This is my main concern with him. he needs to improve his power through contact.
Very smooth footwork that allows him to mirror well in pass protection. He also has the athleticism necessary to block linebackers at the second level.
Against Alabama in 2018 in the SEC Champioship. I never saw him drive a defensive lineman off the ball. He is a good pass protector who mirrors well but play strength is not up to par and currently is below average for a tackle.
Overall he plays against the top competition in college football so there has to be a good level of toughness from him.
This is where I would say his best trait lies. Often he is able to come off an inside rusher and shift his feet and body to block an outside rusher. Check 4th QT 55 seconds left in the SEC Championship against Alabama. Showcases his smooth transition in between blocks.
He is 6''5 320 that is good size. Although it's better to rank this once we find out his arm length at the combine
Has been relatively healthy throughout his career.
I can not judge this as I do not know him personally. Although I like to see more aggressiveness when he blocks.
Very good technique knows how to mirror edge rushers well and get to the second level with relative ease.
With some added strength I believe he can be a good tackle. Again must add strength if this is not done can struggle at the NFL level.
Usually very consistent in pass blocking and run blocking although can be overpowered at times.
He is a good technician with good feet. He is able to get to the second level due to his athleticism. Plays at a high level in the SEC and has played elite competition. Mirrors defenders well and glides them out of the play using their aggressiveness against them.
Lacks power and in the NFL will get overpowered by stronger edge rushers. Lacks a strong punch which allows defenders to get inside leverage.
Must get stronger in order to survive the next level. Currently, I think he is very technically sound but I would be wary of his overall lack of power and aggressiveness.
