The New Orleans Saints extended their winning streak to nine games with a big 48-7 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles' defense struggled to contain the Saints' red-hot offense from the very first drive. The Saints were able to score on all but two drives, excluding the knee they took to end the game. New Orleans was led by another dominant Drew Brees performance and huge games from Tre'Quan Smith and Mark Ingram. Brees was 22 for 30, passing for 363 yards and four touchdowns. Tre'Quan Smith had 157 and a touchdown on 10 receptions, while Mark Ingram had 103 rushing yards and contributed two touchdowns of his own. Alvin Kamara, Austin Carr and Michael Thomas were responsible for the other three touchdowns in the game. Carson Wentz struggled. He was 19 for 33, passing for only 156 yards and no touchdowns while being intercepted three times, twice by Chris Banjo. The Eagles will look to turn things around in Week 12 against their NFC East rival, the New York Giants. The Saints will try to stay in the win column on Thanksgiving as they face the Atlanta Falcons.
