Overall Game Assessment
Overall, not a bad game considering the long layoff. It was a solid match up of two of the top teams in the NWSL and there was a lot of back and forth action. The Courage seem to be the more polished team as they got the best of the chances in the match. It did get sloppy at times, but overall, it was a decent performance.

Defense Comments
Labbe did not make a good play on Portlands goal. She needed to get the ball over the bar, but instead is stayed in play and set up an easy goal.

Nice finish on the game winner. She had a couple other chances in there too. Decent overall game.
Samantha Mewis (5)

She definitely stool out the most in this one. She was very active all over the field and set up the game winning goal.
Stephanie Labbe (1)
GK
Misplay on the Thorns goal. But overall, a decent game. Nice foot skill when she had to backheel a clearance while facing pressure.
