This was an embarrassing win for the the United States. Yes it was dominating, but that is like a pro wrestler taking on a 1st grader! The United States scored 10 goals in the second half! Thailand was broken and was playing for their own pride. When we try to teach kids to be good sports, how does that message come across when you seek to embarrass your opponent? The US was never in jeopardy in this one, they did not take the foot off the throttle at all - they may have actually lost respect instead of gaining it as a result. If they did that against Sweden I would be impressed, not Thailand.
Generating Scoring Opportunities
Set Pieces (Direct/Indirect)
13 goals is hard to say they did not have a great offensive day.
Executing Defensive Game Plan
Controlling Offensive Pressure
Preventing Scoring Opportunities
Conceding/Defending Set Pieces
Not much action on the US half of the field.

Lineup & Substitutions
This game was over 12 minutes into it. Instead of using the substitutions to get all of the young players some experience, they brought in Carli Lloyd and Christen Press? Why? Why not get the youngsters some time and much needed experience. It will be well worth it later and a wasted opportunity.
Alex Morgan (13)
Probably should have come out of the game much sooner. not much to gain in this one.
nice goal late. Probably did not need to suit up for this one...
