This was actually a very boring game to watch! England got lucky with another PK that Kane put away. Colombia finally got their act together when they stopped complaining about calls and started playing. They were probably the better overall performer in the match, but really didn't translate into any meaning chances. Late game and OT were both with an eye towards penalty kicks. Pickford, who otherwise had a quiet night, came up big on the final shot!
Generating Scoring Opportunities
Set Pieces (Direct/Indirect)
This was an uninspired performance from England on the night. They scored on a PK, but otherwise really did not test Ospina in goal.

Preventing Scoring Opportunities
Conceding/Defending Set Pieces
The Colombian attack was muted on the day too without James. But, they performed a decent job overall of controlling Colombia's attack and limiting opportunities. It was a quiet night for Pickford.

Pulling Ashley Young could have backfired for them as Colombia tied the game.
