Germany gave up an early goal to Sweden, but they actually looked pretty good for the match. Particularly in the second half, their attack had numerous chances to win it in regulation. Kroos' set piece was incredible! But, Germany had at least 5-6 excellent opportunities to win it outright. They really controlled the tempo and pace of the game in this one and deserved a win in this one.
Kimmich seemed to be everywhere in this one. He was consistently serving up crosses from the wing, making plays on defense and contributing all over the place.

Germany looked very creative and executed well. The subs were actually great contributors. Gomez was a nice sparkplug coming in to start the 2nd half. Brandt, too, was a catalyst late and almost won it on a shot off the post.
