Overall Game Assessment
The Red Bulls got lucky on a ball off the crossbar that went straight down onto the line for a "no goal." What was about the extent of the threat from NYC FC. The Red Bulls owned the 2nd half with only a handful of NYC FC counterattacks. Red Bulls did not get enough shots though from how much of that second half they controlled.

Coaching Comments
Meara got the start in goal for Robles. Had a few saves in first half, but it was a good night for a breather for Robles.

Offense Comments
For as much possession as the Red Bulls had, they needed to capitalize on it more than they did. They just could not put themselves in a position to score quite enough.

Midfield Comments
The game was mostly played between the NYCFC penalty box and midfield. RBNY needed to generate more scoring chances for how long they controlled the ball.
