Game Notes
Rutgers looked solid tonight. They started slow in this one and were down 21-7 before they rallied with 41 straight points. That was a great sign for a team that has really struggled. Carter has a solid first game for the Scarlet Knights, also INTs did not come back to bite him today. He will not get away with that from better teams. Pacheco continues to show explosiveness and is developing into a star! They finally got some production from Bo Melton at WR too! About time!

Finally a breakout game for him! 100+ yards and a nice TD grab under duress. That's what they needed

A+
Great game for Pacheco! 156 yards running, 4 TDs, some receiving yards too. He looked dominant in this one.
Matt Alaimo (10)
TE
Not a lot of touches, but was a welcome addition.
McLane Carter (3)
QB
B+
Shaky start, but he settled in and took control. Has to cut down on the INTs, but he gave them the spark they needed!
Raheem Blackshear (2)
RB
All around threat. Was very effective in short passing game.

Game Notes on Offense
Not much not to like on offense. Running game was very strong. Carter looked good, although some bad INTs that will need to improve with better teams coming in.

Comments on Coaching
Would have liked to see Langan come in sooner. Also should have seen a little of Sitkowski. He was your starter last season, give him some reps to feel good about after a terrible freshman year - build his psyche.
