Game Notes
If not for the extremely slow start, the Sooners played well - better than I thought they would. They actually made it a game after going down 28-0! Murray is an exciting player to watch! The Sooners defense was in a "bend, don't break mode" and they were much better against a powerful Alabama offense than I would have expected. Sooners can hold their heads up high after this one - they definitely earned back a lot of respect with the comeback.

Comments on Coaching
Lincoln Riley was really the MVP in this game. Down 28-0, he huddled the entire team and rallied them back into the game. They had trouble executing early, but once they got focused, there were right back in it.

Game Notes on Offense
They needed some more balance from the running game, but Murray boosted those numbers with his scrambling ability.

Game Notes on Defense
Oklahoma's defense was actually much better than I expected in this one. They were able to keep Oklahoma in front of them for most of the game, although Alabama has just too many weapons for them to stop!

If they were only able to get one of those onside kick-offs right!!!!
Play of the Game
The first Sooner TD got their confidence back. From there, it became a game again...
