Game Notes
An excellent performance for the first 30 minutes, but did not stomp on the Packers when they had the chance. The play calling became way too conservative in the second half. It seemed like they were trying to kill the clock from the start of the 2nd half.

Comments on Coaching
Loved the play calling in the first half. The offense was consistently moving the chains and seemed unpredictable. The second half not so much. Took the foot off the pedal and let the Packers gain momentum. Should be a good learning experience for Nagy.

Game Notes on Offense
Trubisky showed his mobility but also showed his inconsistency down the field. Has good pocket presences but held onto the ball too long at times. Receivers had trouble creating separation. The running game was impressive with several creative plays. A solid combo of Lightning and Thunder with Cohen and and Howard.

Game Notes on Defense
Looked like a shutdown defense first half putting constant pressure on the quarterback. Khalil Mack made his presence felt immediately and often. They were not able to adjust in the second half with the quick throws the Packers were making. The strength of this defense definitely is with the pass rushing ability of the linebackers. Much of their success will be reliant of their productivity.

Patient runner with great ability to find the right running lanes. Showed improvement in the passing game.
Khalil Mack (52)

One of the best 1st half performances I've ever seen by a defensive player. First player since 1982 to record a Sack, Forced Fumble, Fumble Recovery, Interception, and Touchdown in one half.

Solid short and intermediate accuracy. Needs to show better efficiency with down the field throws. Great mobility but tends to panic a bit when pocket collapses.

Very elusive. Needed to be utilized more. Quick twitch and reactions. Difficult to tackle with him being so low to the ground.
