Overall Game Analysis
Purdue came out hot, while Tennessee struggled early, missing a lot of easy shots and free throws. Purdue extended the lead to as much as 18 before the Vols went on their run to grab the lead. The combination of their sharpshooters beyond the arc and their big man presence down low helped them survive in overtime to advance to the Elite 8.
