Overall Game Analysis
Given Boston's talent relative to LA's they should not have lost this game. Boston was superb offensively, fluidly moving the ball around the court and constantly finding open 3 point shots. Yet, on defensive, they were appalling. They were giving LA the three early (due to their poor shooters), but failed to adjust their game plan once their shots started going in and let LA's shooters get into a rhythm. Not the game Boston can afford to have given how powerful their Eastern Conference competitors have become

Couldn't be stopped. Picked Boston up when they were struggling. I'm a big fan of his game.
Gordon Hayward (20)

Didn't really play too great offensively but showed good hustle and passed and rebounded well. Liability on defense
Jaylen Brown (7)

Anytime his shot is falling in addition to the rest of his game, he's a net positive player. Did a admirable job guarding Lebron

Comments On Offense
Overall strong offensive performance. Boston was getting open looks from 3 and getting to the rim all night long. However, their offense stalled in the third quarter, which allowed LA to get back into the game

Defense was nonexistent. Couldn't really stop LA once they got going. Usual defensive cornerstones Smart and Morris were poor

Can't fault Stevens for giving the Lakers a lot of threes early, but they failed to adjust quickly enough and LA got into a rhythm. Should never have let the LA back into the game. They need to show more mental toughness and remain engaged throughout all 4 quarters.
