Week 13 Pick 'Em

Last Week: 5-0

Season: 45-15

#5 Alabama at #15 Auburn - This is a match up that favors Auburn on paper. The Tigers match up well defensively with Alabama, who will be starting their back up quarterback against the best defensive line in the country on the road, in a rivalry game that is likely to be the last collegiate game for several of their starters. Also, historically, when both teams are highly ranked, or "good" teams,  Auburn wins about 75% of the time. Auburn 34 - Alabama 24

#13 Wisconsin at #9 Minnesota - Minnesota has had a great year but Wisconsin is a very good team that needs this win. The Badgers offensive line and running game are built for Big Ten road games and, defensively, their strength is in pass coverage, which is where Minnesota excels offensively. I think Wisconsin sits on the ball and grinds out a win, as they are apt to do. Wisconsin 28 - Minnesota 17

Buffalo at Dallas - Buffalo has a very good record but they only have one win against a team with a winning record, and that was at home. Dallas needs a win to save Jason Garrett's job and remain in first place in the division.  Look for the Cowboys to postpone their annual December collapse until December and get a much needed win this week. Dallas 27 - Buffalo 17

San Francisco at Baltimore This is a match up of the NFL's two best teams right now. San Francisco has the defensive depth and talent to contain Lamar Jackson but they are travelling to the east coast where west coast teams usually suffer. There's enough going right in both places for this to be a toss up. The Ravens home field advantage will help but the 49ers will win if they can contain Lamar Jackson. I'm betting they can. San Francisco 31 - Baltimore 27

Minnesota at Seattle - Minnesota is coming off a bye week and has heated up in recent weeks. Seattle is also on a tear and has Russell Wilson playing at an elite level. Seattle’s home field advantage is a bonus for the Seahawks and with Minnesota missing Adam Thielen for this game it might be too much for Cousins and company to overcome. Seattle 27 - Minnesota 24
