Post Game Analysis Report

Overall Performance
Overall Team Grade A
Execution A
Offensive Play A
Defensive Effectiveness A
Player of the Match Thibaut Courtois
Overall Match Quality A
Overall Game Assessment This was a very good game. Both teams had their chances, but France capitalized. Courtois kept Belgium in the game and Hazard played a solid all around game for Belgium. They kept trying to serve in balls from the outside, but could not get the positioning to get a good shot on goal.

Unit Performance
Game Strategy A-
Overall Preparedness A
Lineup & Substitutions A
In-Game Management A
Coaching Comments Mertens was a good sub and helped them on the right wing. I can see Belgium wanted to score early and put up the early pressure. When they were turned away, you knew it was going to be a long game for them.
Offensive Performance
Generating Scoring Opportunities B+
Finishing C+
Corner Kicks B-
Set Pieces (Direct/Indirect) B
Controlling Tempo/Possession B+
Generating Pressure B
Offense Comments They were clearly looking to score in the air and had a handful of good opportunities. But, they were just not enough of a threat. Lukaku never really was in the flow of the game.
Defensive Performance
Goalkeeping A+
Executing Defensive Game Plan A-
Controlling Offensive Pressure B+
Preventing Scoring Opportunities B+
Conceding/Defending Set Pieces B-
Transition/Counterattack A-
Defense Comments Courtois had to bale them out on a few, but the defense overall was solid. France has some great skill players to make a good defense spin on their heels!

Generate Offensive Counterattacks A-
Defensive Support & Transition A-
