Overall Match Quality No Opinion
Overall Game Assessment Red Bulls came out very strong and put immediate pressure on Chivas. But, with a 1 goal lead coming into the match, all Chivas needed as a tie and their defensive posture was able to hold the Red Bulls at bay. The Red Bulls controlled the midfield and seemed to be in the Chivas end for most of the match, but they have a difficult time getting quality opportunities and failed to convert on the limited chances that they had.

Player Performance
Player Pos Grade Comments
Luis Robles (31) GK  B+  Never really tested in this one.
Bradley Wright-Phillips (99) FW  BWP was quiet in this one. He was not really able to shake defenders and the Chivas defense was able to control what few opportunities he had.
Daniel Royer (77) MF  B-  not much of a factor in this one.
